Read "Dominicana" with us!

Join us on October 24, 2024 for the YWCA GLBR's for a book club! We'll be discussing Angie Cruz' award winning, Good Morning America Book Club pick "Dominicana." Dominicana, explores the struggles of a young Dominican girl in 1960’s New York City, highlighting how women’s labor and sacrifices are often undervalued in both family and society.

As you complete your registration below, make sure you give us your mailing address: we will have a copy of the book mailed directly to you thanks to a generous grant from YWCA USA. At the Book Club Meeting will have light refreshments, door prizes and a discussion of the book! Deadline for registration is September 27 if you would like a free copy of the book. If you already own your copy and just want to attend, a deadline of October 11 is recommended to save your seat.
